Who we are
This website is operated by Klenisho Games for The Citadel Must Hold. You can contact us at contact@klenishogames.com.
Website privacy
You can browse this website without creating an account. The website is a simple promotional site for the game. We do not use advertising trackers or sell personal information.
Like most websites, our hosting provider may process basic technical information needed to deliver the site, maintain security, and diagnose problems. This can include request times, pages requested, browser information, and similar server log information. This site is hosted on Cloudflare.
Embedded content and local storage
The home page embeds the game trailer using YouTube's no-cookie player. It does not set cookies when the page loads. If you start playback, YouTube may set cookies and process data under Google's privacy policy.
The newsletter form on the home page is provided by MailerLite. When that page loads, MailerLite's script stores a visitor identifier in your browser's local storage. This identifier is not used for advertising and is not shared for cross-site tracking. It is only present on the home page; the press and privacy pages load no third-party scripts.
You can clear this identifier at any time by clearing your browser's site data for this domain.
Newsletter
If you subscribe to the mailing list, we collect the email address you provide so we can send game updates, demo news, and release notices.
We use MailerLite to manage newsletter signups and email delivery. MailerLite may process your email address, subscription status, and related email delivery information so we can send and manage newsletter messages.
Newsletter emails include an unsubscribe link. You can also contact us at the email address above to request removal from the mailing list.
Game analytics
The Citadel Must Hold collects Anonymous Statistical Data about gameplay, for example: which wave a run reached, run length, chosen Oaths/Decrees, and tutorial progress, to help improve the game.
It does not collect or store IP addresses, device identifiers, hardware fingerprints, account or Steam identifiers, or any persistent per-user tracking id, and it sets no tracking cookies. Data cannot be traced back to an individual player. You can turn it off any time in Settings.
External links
This site links to external services such as Steam, Discord, YouTube, X, Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook. When you follow those links, the destination service is responsible for its own privacy practices.
Deletion requests
You may request deletion of newsletter information by contacting us. We will remove information we directly control and forward requests to relevant providers when needed.
Because game analytics are anonymous and not tied to a player, account, device, or tracking id, we cannot identify or delete a specific player's anonymous gameplay statistics after they have been submitted.
Policy updates
We may update this policy when the website, newsletter, analytics, or game services change. The latest version will be posted on this page.
